Academic Voice is a term I learned only 20 years after I went through Moore College. I wish I had understood it when I was at College. So here it is, in the most important post I have written for students:
Finding your academic voice
In this, you will learn that you don’t merely want to repeat knowledge. Rather, you want to combine knowledge and information in new ways, and express your own answer in your own words, showing your own understanding. Merely repeating or combining what others say is no longer enough.
